Djoowak: the Beyond Boundaries Institute (BBI) was launched in 2018 to support and guide All Saints' College in its core business of providing a world-leading Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 teaching and learning environment for students and staff. *Djoowak - a Noongar word meaning 'proceeding, following generation').
The BBI has operated as a practical yet visionary “sandbox,” where ideas were tested, refined and shared. Much of the work has been embedded within All Saints’ College and The Studio School, and opportunities taken to share the learnings to contribute to systemic change.
The BBI is led by the Director of Djoowak: the Beyond Boundaries Institute and collaboration is at the heart of BBI.
The Beyond Boundaries Advisory Group
The Beyond Boundaries Advisory Group (BBAG) includes a diverse range of educational, community and corporate leaders. The group acts as a ‘think tank’, providing guidance as the BBI works to develop world-leading educational practice that is future-focused and responsive to global trends, not only within education, but in the world beyond the school gates. Membership to the Beyond Boundaries Advisory Group is granted by invitation, prospective members are actively sought out for alignment with vision and purpose of the BBI.
