Career Exposition 2013 – A Huge Success!

Career Exposition 2013 – A Huge Success!

I would like to thank all those parents who accompanied their children to the Career Exposition this year. The Centre for Performing Arts came alive with activity with the excitement reaching fever pitch at around 7.00pm. Many parents have written to express how much the event has assisted their child in making career pathway choices and in particular, confirming what are the best courses to embark on in Year 11 to achieve their career goals.

I would also like to particularly compliment all our students on their presentation, behaviour and wonderful questions. Many of the presenters, and Old Saints’, have written to me expressing how impressed they were with our students’ maturity and interest.

A very special, and huge, THANK YOU to the College’s student volunteers that made the Expo run so smoothly. Paige Pittorino (Year 11), Madeleine Crawford (Year 11), Jonathan Tjandra (Year 11), Liam Donaldson (Year 12), Aaron Musgrave (Year 12), Aurelia Jeffery (Year 11), Angus Lawrie (Year 11), Jaslyn Wee (Year 11) and Davina Daudu (Year 11), thank you all for the excellent way in which you handled yourselves at the Exposition; you are all fine ambassadors of the College.

Another very important thank you is extended to the more than 30 plus Old Saints’ and College parents that assisted in passing on their very own career development insights to our current students. Your personal career journeys have informed and assisted our students to make better, realistic and more holistic career pathway decisions.
