All Saints’ College is excited to share that the commencement of Stage 2 of the building project titled Waabiny has commenced. Stage 2 is the construction of All Saints' College's Childcare Centre.

Stage 1 saw the completion of a new Facilities Operations Centre and expansion of the Junior School car park. The car park now features 52 additional parking bays with improved vehicle access, increasing the College’s accessibility for the entire community.

Nestled in the heart of the wider College campus, the Childcare Centre will provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children from 12 months to four years old.

Godden Projects, a collaboration between architects Matthew Crawford and Tom Godden, was selected to deliver a design which takes its inspiration from the natural landscape: the final design is stunning, while rooted firmly in the overarching ethos of the College and the land upon which we sit.

The new building will create a welcoming space for families, intertwining the natural elements of the College landscape and echoing the play-based nature of ASC's Early Childhood philosophy.

The Childcare Centre will accommodate approximately 90 children per day and will be open to all families within the community, once complete.

This exciting new facility is due to open mid-2024 and the College looks forward to welcoming its littlest Saints!

Due to the location of construction, there will inevitably be some disruption to the community, including those accessing the Junior School and Aquatic Centre. The College will work to keep disruption to a minimum and the following measures will be put in place:

  • The site will be cordoned off and fenced securely for the duration of construction.

  • A detailed Safety Plan will be provided by Byte Construct and be approved by Mr Phil Gale, All Saints’ College’s Facilities Manager.

  • Unfortunately, there will be no parking on the oval for the period of construction.

All families are encouraged to allow more time for pick up and drop off of their children once construction commences and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
