Monday, 10 July 

Power Yoga: 9.00am – 12.00pm. Join John Hunt for a really memorable Power Yoga journey. Want a tool to calm your mind, relax and stay in the present? The present moment. Want to learn to concentrate on the breath and the body, while moving your body in new and different ways? Then come and find out at this relaxing workshop. Wear comfortable clothing, all mats and props provided. Beginners welcome! $30.00

Cooking Workshop  (Croissants & Danish): 9.00am – 12.00pm. Presented by Michael Snadden. Have fun making croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Pain Raisin and Danish. You will also make your own conserve to serve with your pastries. $60.00

Game Vault & Ultimate Frisbee: 1.00pm – 4.00pm. Step inside the mobile gaming bus, geared for a tonne of school holiday fun! This mobile video theatre provides a unique social video gaming experience. Enjoy their mammoth range of games available! In addition to this, you will also enjoy Ultimate Frisbee; a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc (frisbee). Come and join in the fun with a WA pro! $50.00

Amazing Edible Science: 1.00pm – 4.00pm with John Paterson from Science Buzz. Does making popping chocolate sound like fun? What about Juicy Gel Beads, Five Minute Ice-Cream or activities that fizz or pop? This workshop will end with a Mentos Geyser experiment outside where you will make some diet coke shoot up out of the bottle! A whole lot of “Molecular cooking” fun guaranteed! $50.00

Using Your Mobile Phone Camera9.00am – 12.00pm. Presented by Michael Snadden. Bring your iPhone, iPad or any of your devices to this workshop! Learn how to use Snapseed, a photo editing application that enables users to enhance photos and apply digital filters. This workshop really is your complete guide to Snapseed photo editing. At the conclusion, you will be able to use the two most essential photo editing tools in Snapseed – Tune Image and Centre Focus. You will also make your own lenses. $45.00

T-shirt Printing/Painting: 9.00am – 12.00pm with artist Tricia Stedman. Get your creative groove on – learn some screen printing and design your art to print onto your own t-shirt. Choose from 34 different colours of high-quality unique Arty Brellas paint including two metallic colours! Anyone can do it. Remember to indicate t-shirt size during the booking process. $60.00

Paint Your Own Canvas an art expression: 1.00pm – 4.00pm with Tricia Stedman  Tricia is an Art Innovator who has drawn her depth of experience and excellence in Art Teaching from her diverse professional background. This canvas art experience will allow each individual to paint their art expression on their own canvas. $60.00

Bricks 4 Kidz, Advanced Brick Challenge – Engineers of Tomorrow: 1.00pm – 4.00pm.  Have you ever wondered who creates all the wonderful machinery and structures around us that makes our daily life easier? Take your first steps into the world of engineers by building and creating miniature versions of these fantastic inventions. Not only will you get the chance to build LEGO® Technic models but also amazing 2D mosaics and appreciate how “The Whole Is Greater Than The Sum Of Its Parts”. Be careful, it is not for the faint-hearted. Do you dare to take up the challenge of building extreme models and be an Engineer of Tomorrow? $50.00

Mug Cakes, Donut Cupcakes & Churros: 1.00pm – 4.00pm with Lyn from My Delicious. Be inspired to create your own mug cakes, doughnut cupcakes and churros!! Lyn will guide participants as they cook a variety of mug cakes, donut cakes and churros! What a fun way to spend a winter afternoon! No experience necessary. $50.00

Wednesday, 12 July 

Dips For Kids (Ages 9 – 12): 9.00am – 12.00pm with Michael Snadden . Learn to make a range of healthy dips! One of your favourites might be your hummus dip with fresh veggies or salsa with corn chips! You will have fun ‘planting’ your own veggies in the dip! $50.00

Laser Tag: 9.00am – 12.00pm with Mobile Laser Quest. Don’t miss out on our live laser gaming experience this holidays! Two teams of 8 will use their laser guns to run mock missions, just like a live computer game. Shoot infrared whilst you execute missions, which challenge you to capture and hold a base, patrol, or escort VIPs. New MAC 11 Laser Taggers also available which are colourful, lightweight with a coloured graphic screen make them super kid friendly! Get your adrenaline pumping in this FUN filled workshop! $50.00

Standing Strong Pop Up Workshop – Total Wellbeing Club For Girls (Ages 10 – 17): 9.00am – 12.00pm. Standing Strong is a unique health and wellness program specially designed for teen and tween girls. With a selection of wellness classes fitting into the categories of Strong Mind, Strong Body and Strong Heart, Standing Strong helps girls build confidence, self-esteem, resilience, improved body image, health and wellbeing. Join their inspirational team of instructors at this very special Popup Event. This workshop will give girls the opportunity to experience Standing Strong’s most popular activities as they enjoy three hours of fun, empowerment, relaxation and motivation! Youth Bike Maintenance Workshop: 1.00pm – 3.00pm with the Bike Dr. A hands-on two-hour bike maintenance session, covering the ‘need to know’ basics. Learn bike parts, bike servicing, puncture repair and how to clean and maintain your chain. Getting participants to work on their own bike, with the guidance of a mechanic, is the best way to instil mechanical knowledge. It’s essential that participants bring their own bike. The rest will be provided by the Bike Dr. $65.00

Loom Beads For Teens (Ages 13-17): 1.00pm – 4.00pm presented by Paula from Flippin Beads. Make your own loom bead bracelet! Choose from funky zig zag patterns using different colours with size 8 beads and a square design. $75.00

Cooking Workshop – Pasta & Pizza (Ages 13-17): 1.00pm – 4.00pm presented by Michael Snadden. Try your hand at making pasta and classic pizza in this fully interactive workshop! Would-be Pizza Chefs will create fresh dough, sauces and toppings, and bake beautiful gourmet pizzas (savory and sweet) to taste, and take home. All participants will be provided with a recipe booklet. All ingredients & equipment provided. Gluten-free & vegetarian options available on request. $60.00

Thursday, 13 July

Minecraft Camp (Ages 9 -14): 9.00am – 3.00pm with Mind Buzz. Minecraft camps are designed to be exciting engaging and a safe and fun place to make friends and learn new skills. Students learn server commands which are the building blocks of coding and advanced computing. All participants receive a camper lanyard, a 20-page workbook and one month access to the safe server following the camp so participants can continue playing with their new friends. Students are welcome to bring own mouse (one will be provided but sometimes participants have their own awesome gaming mouses) and if they like to listen to the game music, they can bring headphones. Book early for this workshop for children of all Minecraft skill levels. $75.00

Make A Music Video (Day 1): 9.00am – 3.00pm. In this 2 day workshop (Thursday, 13 & Wednesday, 14 July), you’ll work with a director/producer Tim Galloway to devise a concept for your music video. Vote to choose a song, learn about film equipment and crew roles, devise a concept and style, then act and direct your video with the group. You’ll be sent a link to your completed video the following week. $150.00 for 2 days

Cooking Workshop – Drip cakes & Meringues: 9.00am – 4.00pm with Lyn from My Delicious. Make a cake that is dripping with Candyland fun! Drips cakes are the trend! Your cake will be your empty canvas to create a beautiful chocolate ganache drip cake, putting your own stamp on it and coming up with your own style. In addition to this, enjoy making ‘winter’ meringues! $80.00

Barista Training & After Coffee Desserts (Ages 13 – 17): 9.00am – 4.00pm with Michael Snadden. Cappuccino? Flat white? Perhaps a café latte? Join this Full Day workshop as Michael guides you in the morning as you learn or freshen up your skills making classic espresso coffee production. In the afternoon, you will enjoy creating and making after coffee desserts! Gain the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages and be prepared for that café or restaurant job! Learn how to operate a commercial espresso machine. All ingredients and equipment are provided. A Certificate of Completion will be presented at the conclusion of the workshop. Great for your CV! $100.00

Young Engineers – Building Leonardo’s Machines (Ages 9 – 12): 9.00am – 4.00pm. LEGO® + Art : Leonardo da Vinci’s Amazing Machines. He conceived a time machine long before Dr Who was created. He created a flying machine long before the Wright brothers were born. He invented the parachute, crossbow, armoured car and so many other cool machines. He was an artist, an engineer and one of the most well-known scientist in history. Who is he? Come on an adventure with us as we explore some of the amazing machines invented by Leonardo da Vinci. LEGO Activity: We will be building Lego® models of his machines while we explore the life of this genius. Special Art Activity: we will also be using your artistic skills to uncover hidden codes written in invisible ink and learn how to design your own Imaginary Machine. Make A Music Video (Day 2): 9.00am – 3.00pm.

Bricks 4 Kidz, Advanced Brick Challenge – Worlds of Wonder: 9.00am – 4.00pm.  Swing from the tallest buildings using the Dark Knight’s grappling hook, create the radioactive spider that gave Webhead his power or journey through the skies on the back of a dragon! Build these creations and more in our most challenging LEGO® workshop to date. If you are one of the elite few who manage to complete these Technic models…on time, you will be rewarded with a walking, rocking or swinging creation. In addition, there are spectacular 3D models and cooperative 2D mosaic designs that are begging to be unleashed! Do you have what it takes to be a Brick-Master? $75.00

Constructing Drones & Programming For Flight (Ages 13 – 17): 10.00am – 4.00pm presented by Fire Tech Camp Australia. This workshop will be delivered to participants in a fun, engaging way so that you can both absorb key concepts and practice them with plenty of time available. Participants will embark on an adventure of building and piloting drones. Taught by an industry professional and trained tutors, participants will build together a complete quad drone and fly it. The Drone Pilots will be in the Indoor Sports Centre from 2.00pm and will commence flying from 2.30pm. Flying will conclude at approximately 3.35pm. The students will take turns as the pilot or spotter learning the basics in engineering, robotic concepts and drone flying. Your children will be drone pilots and engineers by the end of the day! $130.00.

Refund Policy 

Whilst every effort is made to run workshops as publicised, on occasion changes to a workshop, location and presenter of a workshop may need to be made.  All Saints’ College reserves the right to make these changes. If you are unable to attend, notice must be given five working days before the commencement of the program to receive a refund.  If a workshop is cancelled by All Saints’ College, we will refund your money in full.
