"All Saints’ College principal Belinda Provis said the impact of COVID could hasten changes to the ATAR system.
She believed Year 12s had been more relaxed and able to fit in more after-school activities while still enjoying their studies.
“Over 50 per cent of our students had a tertiary offer in their hand well before their final exams,” Ms Provis said.
“Our students have continued to be engaged in class and working hard but I think a lot of the anxiety has been taken out of the year for them, which we think can only be a good thing.”
