This year, the All Saints' College Foundation supported the delivery of our Djaaliny Event series, a program designed to bring parents and our wider community together for conversations that matter. Thanks to the Foundation's support, we were able to host a series of events featuring renowned guest speakers who shared insights on key topics impacting education and families today.

Professor Sandra Milligan – New Metrics: Getting from System 1 to System 2

Professor Sandra Milligan explored how education systems can move beyond traditional measures of success to embrace deeper learning and critical thinking. Her session challenged parents and educators to consider how we prepare young people for a rapidly changing world, focusing on skills that matter most for future success.

Dr Judith Locke – Helping Your Child Become Confident and Capable

Dr Judith Locke provided practical strategies for fostering resilience and independence in children. Her evidence-based approach helped parents understand how to balance support with autonomy, ensuring children grow into confident, capable individuals ready to navigate life’s challenges.

Dr Kyla Smith – Making Mealtimes Easier
