ASC Team Shines at School Sport WA Cross Country Championships
The ASC Cross Country Team recently participated in the highly anticipated School Sport WA (SSWA) Cross Country Championships, held at UWA Sports Park. The competition is the platform for selection into the SSWA Interstate Cross Country team which competes in the Australian National Cross Country competition, held in Canberra during Term 3.
With a strong presence of 70 ASC competitors, the College spirit was strong as our talented young athletes battled it out for a spot in the Interstate Cross Country Team. The College would like to congratulate all of the students who proudly represented ASC and displayed unwavering determination throughout the day. An outstanding effort by all those involved!
The standout performance of the day went to one of ASC's rising stars, Austin Saratsis (Year 7), who finished in first place out of an impressive field of over 200 runners in the 13s Boys category, securing his position in the State Team.
