College Partners with WACA to Launch Inclusive Cricket Hub
We’re pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity – we're partnering with the Western Australian Cricket Association, launching a pilot Cricket Blast program right here on campus!
Designed to connect local primary schools with secondary schools and junior cricket clubs, the new ‘hub’ model introduces Cricket Blast into secondary settings. We’re proud to be one of the first schools in Western Australia to be part of this initiative which aims to build stronger links between school and community cricket.

From weeks 4 to 10 of this term, students from All Saints’ and nearby primary schools will take part in Cricket Blast sessions, supported by junior cricket clubs to ensure a smooth transition for those keen to take the next step in their cricket journey. For students not yet ready for the traditional hard-ball format, the program also includes Social Smash; a fast-paced, 60-minute game using lighter bats and softer balls, creating a more accessible and inclusive entry point to the game.
WACA identified that our K–12 structure, high-quality facilities and strong sporting reputation made ASC an ideal candidate for this partnership and noted that our willingness to explore new participation models and our existing connections to community sport makes us an ideal key pilot site.
As a lead hub school, we’ll play a central role in connecting students and feeder schools with local cricket clubs. The partnership aligns with our strategic focus on inclusive sport and responds directly to our community’s interest in developing cricket as a key offering at the College.
We look forward to growing this exciting partnership with the WACA and to seeing more students step up to the crease!
