Cooper's VET Studies Success
The College would like to shine a spotlight on Year 12 student Cooper, who has recently achieved great results in his VET studies.
Over the course of Year 11 and 12, Cooper completed a Certificate III in Fitness, a Certificate IV in Science (Sport and Nutrition) at Health Science Hub, and a Certificate II in Sport Coaching.
With the guidance of The College’s Head of Futures, Mr Nic Keskinidis, Cooper applied for a scholarship at Murdoch University, and we are pleased to announce his success. Cooper has been awarded a $12,000 Ngala Kwop Biddi Brighter Futures Scholarship from Murdoch University, acknowledging his leadership and community contributions focused on Recognition/Inclusion of First Nation.
During Year 11, Cooper also completed a workplace learning placement at Treeby Primary School, where his performance exceeded expectations. Cooper has now applied to join Murdoch University in 2024, where he aims to become a Health and Physical Education Teacher.
