Congratulations to Ella Melton who has recently completed her Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship!

Ella has shown incredible dedication during her apprenticeship, and we are pleased to welcome her to her new ongoing position as Grounds Person.

Ella has enjoyed gardening from a young age, after helping her mum with landscaping. She found a love for renovating and learning about new plants. A memorable unit at Tafe was the conservation unit, where Ella learned about Native plants and how to conserve Australian flora. 

Ella speaks more about her experience at ASC: "The highlight of my apprenticeship is learning about native plants and learning how to make the gardens environmentally friendly."

Enjoying working outside in the fresh air, Ella loves the friendly work environment and looks forward to coming to work.

"A highlight of my time here so far has been the amazing team and experiencing lots of different changes in a short period of time, such as moving into the Boola Maarakool centre," she said.
