FAQs

Read all you need to know about our School Holiday Program.

Who can attend and what ages do your workshops cater for?

The Program is open to all young people aged 8 to 14 years, not just students from All Saints’ College. The recommended age range for each workshop is listed in the program guide. If a booking is made for a child who does not meet the minimum or maximum age requirement for a workshop, the College reserves the right to cancel the booking and issue a refund, less a 5% administration fee.

What does my child need to bring on the day?

  • A packed lunch and water bottle. Please ensure all food is nut-free in accordance with our College policy.
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and your child's chosen activities (details will be provided in your workshop confirmation).
  • All personal medications, including EpiPens and asthma puffers, must be brought and kept with the child at all times. Medication must not be expired.
  • Students currently enrolled at All Saints' College will not be able to access their medication stored on campus during the program. You must bring medication with you.
  • If any specific equipment or technology is required for your chosen workshop, you will be notified in your workshop confirmation.

Please label all belongings clearly.

Will my child be supervised during breaks between the workshops?

The Program runs between 8.15am and 4.30pm on the specified dates. If your child is booked into both a morning and an afternoon workshop, the lunch break will be provided and supervised. Parents must collect children by 4.30pm sharp each day. A late pick up fee of $15 for every 15 minutes may be applied after 4.30pm.

All children must be signed in by a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 14 must be collected by an adult at the conclusion of their program unless prior written consent has been provided to Program staff.

Can I stay with my child during the activity?

Our program is not designed for parents to attend with their child. All workshops are intended for children to attend independently and may not have the capacity to accommodate adults. Of course, you are welcome to stay until your child is comfortable, but we encourage you to make your own plans for the duration of the workshop. If this is going to be an issue, please communicate with the Holiday Program Coordinator.

What if my child has a medical condition or behavioural concerns?

All personal medications, including EpiPens and asthma puffers, must be brought and kept with the child at all times. Medication must not be expired.

Currently enrolled students at the College with stored medication will not be able to access this during the program. You must bring medication with you.

Personal medication will only be administered if indicated on your form - Panadol (supplied by the Program) or other medication (supplied by the parent). If your child becomes unwell during the day, we may ask you to collect them early.

All Saints’ College is a nut-aware campus, which means we take steps to minimise the presence of nuts; however, we cannot guarantee that all products provided by external suppliers are completely nut-free. We ask all families and facilitators to avoid bringing any foods or consumables that contain nuts.

What happens if my child can't attend or if the workshop is cancelled—can I get a refund?

If your child is no longer able to attend, please notify us at least seven (7) days before the Program date for a full refund. No refund will be available if less than seven days’ notice is given. If your child cannot attend due to illness, a credit for a future program may be offered only upon the provision of a valid medical certificate.

If the College needs to cancel or change a workshop (e.g. due to low numbers or facilitator illness), you will be offered a full refund or a suitable alternative program.

Where possible, we aim to notify families of cancellations due to low numbers at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled workshop.

Is there a child subsidy available?

Unfortunately, there is no Child Care subsidy assistance available for the All Saints’ College School Holiday Program.
