Will my child be supervised during breaks between the workshops?
Yes, after your child’s morning activity is finished, they will head back to the Centre for Performing Arts where they will have a lunch break. We will also have some activities available for entertainment. This area will be staffed from 8.00am – 4.30pm daily. If your child is registered for an all-day workshop, the facilitator will determine the breaks throughout the day.
Can I stay with my child during the activity?
Our program is not designed for parents to attend with their child. All workshops are intended for children to attend independently and may not have the capacity to accommodate adults. Of course, you are welcome to stay until your child is comfortable, but we encourage you to make your own plans for the duration of the workshop. If this is going to be an issue, please communicate with the Holiday Program Coordinator.
What if my child has a medical condition or behavioural concerns?
During the registration process, we ask about any medical conditions or behavioural concerns we should know about. We also ask if we can administer First Aid and paracetamol. This information is confidentially passed onto our facilitators as your child will spend most of the day in their care. If your child requires an EpiPen, please ensure they bring it with them. In the case of an emergency or accident involving your child, we will contact you immediately.
Should a participant become unwell, the workshop facilitator in the first instance will ascertain whether the child is well enough to remain in the workshop and will make contact with the Holiday Program Coordinator. The emergency contact attached to the registration will be notified immediately and depending on the seriousness of the condition, early pick up may be required.
What if my child can no longer attend due to illness?
If your child is ill and cannot attend the activity on their enrolled day, a credit of the same value of the cancelled workshop may be applied to a future program if a medical certificate is provided. Please call the Holiday Program Coordinator on the morning of the enrolled day to advise if your child will no longer be attending.
Can I get a refund for a cancelled workshop?
Whilst every effort is made to run workshops as advertised, on occasion changes to a workshop, location and facilitator may be needed. All Saints’ College reserves the right to make these changes.
If your child is unable to attend, notice must be given at least five (5) working days before the commencement of the program to receive a full refund. If a workshop is cancelled by All Saints’ College, we will refund your investment in full or move you to another suitable workshop.
Is there a child subsidy available?
Unfortunately, there is no Child Care subsidy assistance available for the All Saints’ College School Holiday Program.
